I totally forgot how much joy reading a book gives me. I remember when I was in school I always challenged myself to fill my library card to the brim until the school year ends. If I accomplished that I was a happy kid. From reading Nancy Drew to Sweet Valley and anything else in between.
That kind of went away when I started college and those books were replaced with textbooks and by the time I had spare hours or free days I did not want anything to do with books even if it was just for leisure.
People at work started to read FSoG on their phones and iPods on their spare time and I actually got curious (as posted on my previous entry about Mr. Grey). I enjoyed the book so much to the point that I felt I was time warped reading the book till the wee hours of the night even if I had to wake up early for work. I was in a bubble going through those books. So after finishing those books I wanted to read more books... and there it was my enthusiasm and love for books is rekindled.
Books make me happy. Reading books makes me convey emotions that I usually cannot express in my everyday existence. Books gives me hope and make me dream of possibilities. And with that I thank the authors for making wonderful stories with their creative minds.
